The **Le Creuset BBQ Outdoor Collection Cast Iron Grilling Pan, square grill** is a robust all-rounder for your outdoor kitchen. Thanks to its special, fireproof enamel coating, this pan is suitable for use over an open fire, something which is not the case with most enamelled pans. Thanks to the divided cooking zones, you can cook several dishes at once. The vertical, ribbed texture ensures that excess grease is easily drained, contributing to healthier cooking. This grill is ideal for preparing tender cuts of meat and fish. 

## Le Creuset BBQ Outdoor Collection

Rugged and ready for adventure, the BBQ Outdoor Collection brings the quality of cooking with Le Creuset, outdoors for the first time. This robust collection is made from Le Creuset's legendary enamelled cast iron and specially designed for use on an open fire. The fully-coated matt enamel is slightly rougher than that of Le Creuset's silky enamel pans and is more resistant to dulling, staining, flaking, cracking and rusting. This makes it safe for regulated and non-regulated heat sources up to 450°C. A good rule of thumb is to place the pan at least 5 cm above the heat source. If possible, we recommend using a grid or pan support to ensure a safe distance to the heat source.

The raised rim at the base of the Le Creuset Outdoor Collection pans is designed to keep the pan stable on top of a grid or barbecue. It prevents the pan from sliding around. However, this does mean that these pans are not suitable for cooking on induction hobs. Induction requires a flat base to ensure proper conduction.

### Le Creuset BBQ Outdoor Collection: great design

The Le Creuset BBQ Outdoor Collection has a number of handy features that make it ideal for outdoor cooking. For example, the pans and grilling basket have a low profile to allow grill hoods to close. Ideal for smoking food or slow cooking. The stackable design allows for compact storage. Make sure to use pan protectors to prevent damage! The durable enamel is resistant to metal kitchenware and does not need to be seasoned: you can get started straight away. Oversized handles make it easy to grab the pan wearing your oven mitts. And although these products are technically dishwasher safe, we still recommend washing by hand.
