This **Flytanium Benchmade Bugout, 940, 945 and Griptilian FLY-1197S Slotted Thumbstud** is a very nice titanium thumb stud for your Benchmade pocket knife. Installation is easy, you only need a torx screwdriver.

This thumb stud is compatible with the following models: Bugout, Mini Bugout, Bailout, 940 Series, 945 Series, Griptilian, Mini Griptilian, Mini Crooked River, and Mini Freek.

It is also compatible with the following models, however, it will be a bit shorter than the original thumb stud on these models: North Fork Folder, Vallation, Mini Vallation, Triage, Adamas, Contego, Mini Barrage, Boost and Emissary.

It is **not** compatible with the Valet or the Nakamura.

## Tips when installing

Adding new scales or other accessories isn't without risk! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We prefer to add a piece of a plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Also check the warranty conditions of the manufacturer: for some brands the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. You add the scales at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or accessory.
